Education
"Oh all the time when Victoria Wood and I did our series. There were people asking 'Can women be funny?' People still ask that. It's like asking: 'Can women breathe in and out?"
(Julie Walters)
"Love the art in yourself and not yourself in the art.
Remember: there are no small parts, only small actors.
Create your own method.
Don't depend slavishly on mine. Make up something that will work for you!
But keep breaking traditions, I beg you.
(Stanislavski)
"I am not defined by what I 'do'. I am defined by who I 'am'. If who I 'am' happens to open a door, then I shall be grateful for each room I step into"
